this painting is based on an Ed Emshwiller cover for Fantasy & Science Fiction (oct 1962), illustrating the classic story by Robert Sheckley, "The Journey of Joenes." Really a great story, if you can find it! just the figure roughly brushed in is from EMSH, I made up the circular window bit and yellow beam/path thing.
